CMMV Teen LeaderSHIP Program


Empowering Future Leaders Through STEAM & Service


Join our exciting new Teen LeaderSHIP Program designed to help high school students build leadership skills, gain real-world experience, and make a difference in their community!


Program Overview

  • Open to high school students (grades 9–12)

  • Two levels of involvement:

    • Crew – Up to 40 students

    • Captains – Up to 8 students, (Crew leaders)

Become a Member


Crew Member Responsibilities

  • Attend 1 meeting per month

    • Leadership skill-building

    • Team bonding

    • Training for STEAM night exhibits

  • Volunteer at 4 CMMV on the Go STEAM Nights throughout the year

  • Participate in fun, food-filled sessions with hands-on learning and collaboration

Captain Responsibilities

(In addition to Crew duties)
    • Attend 1 extra planning meeting per month

    • Help plan and lead Crew monthly meetings

    • Coordinate Crew participation at STEAM Nights

    • Gain extra leadership experience in organization and mentoring

Program Perks

  • Scholarships available for eligible seniors

  • Standout experience for job and college applications

  • Build valuable communication, teamwork, and planning skills

  • Make new friends and give back to your community

  • Work directly with CMMV (Children’s Museum of the Magic Valley) educators and team

Commitment

  • Monthly meetings: 2025-26 Meeting Dates

    • September 16
    • October 21
    • November 18
    • December 18
    • January 20
    • February 24
    • March 17
    • April 21
    • May 12- End of Year Celebration
  • Volunteer for 4 community STEAM nights
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and lead!
